“Naruto Shippuden” is the sequence of Japanese manga series “Naruto”, an entertaining anime with epic value, written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. The first series run for 220 episodes and the succeeding one is on the same way. Its classic story line and top notch animation makes it popular through out the world. It is a story of an adolescent ninja “Naruto Uzumaki” who wants to become the most acknowledged ninja, the strongest of all and the Hokage, leader of his village.

The plot is originally derived from a one-shot comic by Kishimoto published in Akamaru Jump’s August 1997 issue. In the 43rd issue of Japan’s “Weekly Shonen Jump” in 1999 the manga was first published and still being serialized. Under the production of “Studio Pierrot” and “Aniplex” it is adopted into anime and premiered across Japan on the terrestrial “TV Tokyo” network and the anime satellite television network “Animax” on October 3, 2002. Because of the popularity of the series it is also come out as light novels, video games and trading cards.

Plot of the Manga

Naruto Uzumaki is an inhabitant of village Konohagakure. But he is not an ordinary boy; within him the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox is sealed when he was an infant but he was not aware of the demon inside of him. Years later, he is tricked by Mizuki, a renegade ninja, into stealing a forbidden scroll. His teacher stopped him. To protect his teacher from Mizuki, Naruto has learnt “Shadow Clone Technique” from the scroll he has stolen and it make him realize that he is the container of the demon fox. Later, Naruto forms a three-person team called Team 7 with Sasuke, Uchiha and Sakura Haruno under Kakashi Hatake, an experienced sensei. The team was charged with missons like doing chores or being bodyguards. Trough the missions Naruto learns new skills, abilities to fulfill his dream of becoming the Hokage of Konohagakure.

Difference Between Naruto & Naruto Shippuden

Naruto Shippuden is the chain of Naruto. The characters of both the series are almost same. In the first one friendship and relationship of Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura are depicted. It maintains a youthful innocents, and progression of comradeship. The pivotal area of the plots is the relationship between Naruto and Sasuke. Naruto’s mission is to be the Hokage. Sasuke is the best Ninja student of his class and Naruto is identified heavily for his “never say die attitude”. Naruto wants to make Sasuke respect him so that everyone else will have to as well.

After almost two and half years of the first series, Naruto Shippuden starts its journey. In the series some of the innocence is gone and more melancholic pathos take its place that gives the series maturity and lends Naruto and the other characters seriousness. Shippuden greatly deals with the concept of power that brings danger and responsibility. In the new sequence, Naruto tries to eliminate his dependence on the demon fox for power even risking his own health with his Rasengan attack.

With all the features of its predecessors, Naruto Shippuden reaches to a greater maturity level. In the new version comedy takes on a slightly greater level of sophistication but it doesn’t detract from the slapstick style of the show.
